Tampa Bay Steel asks that all delivery customers pay the same low fuel surcharge based on delivered weight. Rather than creating regional shipping lines, we have implemented this calculated fuel surcharge billed as a separate line item on each invoice. The plan simplifies shipping costs, viewing our delivery zone as one equal zone.
The fuel surcharge plan will be based on the National U.S. Average On-Highway Diesel Fuel Prices, which is updated each Monday. Tampa Bay Steel’s diesel fuel surcharge will be updated at the beginning of each month, based on the last Monday of the previous month.
